While it is possible to enjoy the Cotswolds without a car, those who do have a car will find that many of the charming villages in the region have one or more car parks available.

Cotswolds car park are free or paid, and those that require payment, this is through an app. All are cashless. Few have electric car charging bays, some have motorbike bays and cycle racks. Few have all. Some are free all week, others only on Sunday.

Cotswolds Car Park: Bourton-on-the-Water Car Parking

Bourton-on-the-Water is a charming village in the heart of the Cotswolds, known for its picturesque stone bridges and idyllic riverside setting.

Here, you’ll find cars are really well looked after, with a few places where they can rest up while you go and enjoy yourselves. The public car park (owned by Cotswold Council) is on Rissington Road.

Closer to the main street is a huge privately run pay and display car park at Bourton Vale with many car, motorhome, and coach bays, an ice cream kiosk and a large supermarket.
