This is one of the UK’s most picturesque villages and sits in the Cotswolds, a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1966, and has honey-coloured stone architecture and charming squares. This village also has a celebrity population like no other!

As a UNESCO World Heritage Site and popular destination for tourists from Europe, Chipping Campden is a picturesque market town on the edge of the Cotswold Hills (a ridge of over 50 miles of limestone hills) and is known for its stunning architecture, rich history, and idyllic countryside.

Chipping Campden was once a center of the wool trade, and many of its historic buildings and landmarks date back to this period. For example, St James Church is an impressive Gothic-style building dating from the 14th century and considered one of England’s finest ‘wool’ churches, a testament to the prosperity brought about by local wool merchants.

One of the most notable features of Chipping Campden is its terraced High Street, which dates back to the 14th century and is lined with a variety of historic buildings and shops.

There are several galleries, studios, and workshops throughout the town, and there are several annual festivals and events held each year promoting the arts.

The Big Feastival takes place annually (25-27 August 2023) and features music, Michelin star chefs, street food and family activities. The Chipping Campden Literary Festival takes place in May every year and is a feast for any novice or professional bookworm!

There are many activities to do in Chipping Campden including hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The town is surrounded by beautiful countryside, including the nearby Cotswold Way, which offers stunning views of the surrounding hills and valleys.

Heathrow to Chipping Campden takes 100 minutes by car.
